Linksys Velop Red Light Flashing

I have a 3 node velop system running in bridge mode.

Using a network analyzer the velops often remain connected even with a blinking red light. Wish i could be more help. But the velop v1 led turn green at some point. One of my nodes has been stuck on a solid red light for the last couple of days which supposedly indicates that it isn t connected to the internet even though it s definitely is 100 as i ve been connected to this node with no issues during that time.

For an overview of the wi fi settings feature on the linksys app click here. Strangely wired and wireless internet worked fine. Strangely i seems to be able add the node when the led is in red. In setup i had solid blue for about 30 seconds then solid red on all 3 nodes.

I have an issue with one node that multiple times a day appears to restart itself. After a while the app will complaint we re having trouble talking to your node. When checking the velop nodes it is always this one node will be flashing. Every minute or so sometimes more often the blue light blinks sometimes once sometimes several times and sometimes so long that it turns red.

When the light turns red it flashes for a while before turning solid red. Reset button press and hold until the light on top of the node turns red fades and flashes bright red again to reset the node to its factory defaults. This is evident when a device that is connected to this node suddenly has no connectivity. All devices connected to that node loose connection some of them reconnect later some do not until velop is rebooted.

A hassle but i ve had solid blue on each velop node for about a day so far. The linksys velop whole home mesh wi fi system outperforms traditional routers and range extenders giving you 100 percent seamless wi fi experience. I factory reset my cable modem unplugged it plugged it back in then factory reset each velop node and went back through setup. It will go light blue and after a while go into red and blinking red. Then after a while it comes back to steady blue. I m having the same problem with my 2 node tri band velop routers 1 to 2 times each day.
