After a while the app will complaint we re having trouble talking to your node.

A hassle but i ve had solid blue on each velop node for about a day so far.
The 1 4 lights will only turn on when you have a client physically connected with an ethernet cable at the back of router ports labeled 1 4.
When the light turns red it flashes for a while before turning solid red.
The wps lights will only turn on when you activate the wi fi protected setup wps button at the back of.
Strangely i seems to be able add the node when the led is in red.
One of my nodes has been stuck on a solid red light for the last couple of days which supposedly indicates that it isn t connected to the internet even though it s definitely is 100 as i ve been connected to this node with no issues during that time.
While the internet connection has dropped the wi fi network is still operating.
May we know the distance of the certain node to the other nodes.
All devices connected to that node loose connection some of them reconnect later some do not until velop is rebooted.
Every minute or so sometimes more often the blue light blinks sometimes once sometimes several times and sometimes so long that it turns red.
Strangely wired and wireless internet worked fine.

The wi fi lights will only turn on when there are clients connected to either your 2 4 ghz or 5 ghz radio band on the router.
It could take up to a minute for the light on the top of the range extender to change from.
If this is the primary node make sure it is securely connected to the modem.
Blinking red signifies that the node isn t in the range of the other nodes.
However for my velops this isn t always true.
Using a network analyzer the velops often remain connected even with a blinking red light.
To fix the problem both the modem and the parent router the one the modem is connected to must be restarted.
It will go light blue and after a while go into red and blinking red.

It sounds like a normal startup but the blinking red light suggests the node has lost connection to the primary node.
I factory reset my cable modem unplugged it plugged it back in then factory reset each velop node and went back through setup.
I have tried unplugging it and it starts off at blue whilst rebooting then eventually goes red.
In setup i had solid blue for about 30 seconds then solid red on all 3 nodes.
